General Information

Parents may wait in the lobby with their children until the instructor calls them into the gym. Parents are not allowed in the gym (with the exception of one parent per child for classes requiring parent participation). However, you are welcome to watch through the observation windows.

Upon dismissal, parents must be ready to pick up the children as the instructor brings them out. (Please be on time…the kids get very upset when they do not see you!)

The children should come dressed and ready to participate.

Gymnastics:

Girls may wear a leotard, biker shorts, or comfortable close-fitting clothing. Boys may wear shorts and well-fitting T-shirts or sweatpants when cold out. Clothing with belt loops, zippers, or snaps are prohibited, as are large, oversized T-shirts for both boys and girls. Sweat clothes are OK in cold weather. The children should be barefoot, hair should be pulled back, and no jewelry should be worn.

Ninja:

Boys and girls should wear well-fitted clothing. Clothing with belt loops, zippers, or snaps are prohibited, as are large, oversized T-shirts for both boys and girls. Sweat clothes are OK in cold weather. Hair should be pulled back, and no jewelry should be worn. It is preferred that children wear black soled sneakers. Our shoe recommendation can be found here. It is also encouraged to bring sneakers to change into as wet or dirty shoes will not be allowed in the gym.

Other:

Children should bring a water bottle with water only to the gym. If needed, chalk is available for purchase at the office.

Instructors will wait 15 minutes after class start time for students from their class to arrive. If no students are present after 15 minutes, instructors are permitted to leave.

Fundraisers

The Parent’s Association sponsors various fundraisers to purchase equipment that you see being used by all the kids in the gym. Information about these fundraisers will be distributed via your child’s instructor. Your participation is really appreciated!
